Description
As an integral part of Orvi's new Ultralight Wading System, the Ultralight wading shoe offers exceptional performance and durability with less bulk and weight than conventional shoes. The low weight and the fine fit are part of the whole new system. The upper is made in quick-drying Clarino microfiber which provides a better strength-to-weight ratio than leather. Inside is a min-ripstop lining for increased durability. Thin protective layers of rubber, on exposed areas, provide increased durability without adding weight. Tightly woven shoe straps provide better protection against abrasion. Specially developed Vibram® EVA midsole provides increased comfort and protection for the foot. Double durometer Vibram® outsole with Orvi's own pattern provides the best grip when hiking and wading. Studs can also be inserted if necessary (extra accessories).
Weight only 1.2kg per pair (size 43), which is clearly less than traditional waders.
