All leaders are cut by hand and individually checked to ensure correct taper and diameter. The color is clear for low visibility in the water. leaders na is delivered in a waterproof package that also protects against UV radiation. These leaders are specially designed for you to extend yourself with your own tip. The leader has a long butt and tapering and a short tip that gives very good roll-over and presentation. Just tie on a tip of about 1-1.5 meters in the same or slightly thinner dimension and the leader is ready for fishing. Feel free to install a tippet ring at the end of the tapered part where you attach the lace material in a simple way and with maximum strength. This is especially important if you are using a fluorocarbon tippet which is harder than nylon and can therefore produce a weaker knot when joining the different materials. These leaders hit over long tips with ease and there is no problem with a total leader length of 12-14 feet. If you want a longer leader of 18-20 feet to use on very shy fish, we recommend using our 12-foot Power Strike leader and extending it.
